Apparently artists are fighting back against generative AI by posting protest images where they'll be scooped up as source material.

@weex I doubt that's going to work. They'd have to post a lot, and it would have to get a lot of likes.
Checked, and the screenshots do just seem to be people playing along, possibly even out of support.

@faun I agree in the sense of stopping use. The pulling in of the world's most valuable artistic IP may be more effective but I imagine it'll go as does content protection on platforms like YouTube. Good luck there if you're not a megacorp.

As for the practicality of a movement, if that one on the right were signed by a protestor it could being an interesting piece to purchase in support.
